For Our Grads

Walnut Hills Scholarships are made available through contributions from Walnut Hills residents, the Walnut Hills Civic Association, and the Walnut Hills Newsletter. This year, with the generous contributions of the residents,the Walnut Hills Civic Association, the Walnut Hills Newsletter, and some private donations, the Scholarship Committee was able to offer four $2500 scholarships.  In addition, the Scholarship Committee was going to award a $1000 Graham Vocational Grant to a student attending a vocational, trade, technical school or a community college leading to a career field. However, there were no applicants for the vocational grant this year. So the vocational grant was held over for 2010.This years scholarship winners were:

Applications for the awards are available in the Post Grad Center at Cherry Creek High School or may be picked up from John  Fuller at 7219 S. Tamarac Ct., 303-771-2938. The deadline for all applications to be submitted is March 14, 2009.  

Applicants must be residents of Walnut Hills, have graduated from highschool or received a GED since 2006, and plan to attend college or an accredited vocational, technical or similar program at a community college in 2008.
