Please be advised that a community meeting is being held prior to the formal submittal for an Administrative Site Plan for a property located at the southwest corner of E. Caley Ae. And S. Greenwood Plaza Blvd. The Applicant, Fentress Architects, proposes to construct a phased office tower development. The phased construction will include two ten-story office towers and one nine-story office tower consisting of over 770,00 square feet of office space and associated parking garage. The development will also include the construction of a 10,000 square foot retail building.
Community meetings are required by the City’s Land Development Code (LDC) prior to submittal of certain development applications. The purpose of the community meeting is to inform the affected property owners sand neighborhoods about the proposed development application and seek comments about its potential impacts on the area which could reasonably be mitigated. These meetings are intended to be forums in which the applicant and property owners work together in good faith. However, they are not required to generate complete consensus on all aspects of the applications, nor to supplant or add to the standards to this LDC.
Notice of the meeting is being sent to all adjacent property owners, and to all HOA’s and Civic Associations registered with the City that are located within one mile of the proposed development.
