Share Your Views on Housing in Centennial at May 17 Workshop
The City is undertaking a year-long study of housing options and opportunities to understand the full spectrum of housing issues, define various needs for housing and identify priorities to potentially inform policy. You are invited to attend a Housing Needs Workshop that will be held 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, at the Centennial Public Works Facility, 7272 S. Eagle Street.
Project team members will kick off the meeting with a brief presentation providing an overview of the process, next steps, housing policies and possible strategies. Then participants will break into small groups for a facilitated exercise and discussion designed to collect input about housing options in Centennial. Activities will be provided for children. Enhance Your Neighborhood, Spur Connection with Centennial’s Community Grant Programs
Don’t miss opportunities for funding assistance to improve community engagement, strengthen neighborhood identity and enhance neighborhood collaboration. The Centennial Neighborhood Engagement Grant program provides grants up to $500 to support community-building events. Check When Your Area Is Scheduled for Spring Street Sweeping
The City has posted its schedule for Spring street sweeping. Click here to view a City map outlining projected dates (weather permitting) for street sweeping in each area. When street sweeping is planned for your area, please move vehicles from the street so sweepers can remove all debris from the roads. Centennial’s 2022 Signature Events Kick Off on June 3 at Centennial Center Park
The City is pleased to announce its calendar of signature events for 2022, which kicks off on June 3 with a celebration of the 10th anniversary since Centennial Center Park was established.
The June 3 event will be held 3-6 p.m. at the park, located at 13050 E. Peakview Avenue, and is co-hosted by Arapahoe Libraries. Learn about Library District’s Summer Reading Program and celebrate the park’s amenities at this birthday party-themed event featuring face painting, music, balloon twisters and crafts.
